The APart PA-CONFC is a high quality chairman microphone terminal that can be used in combination with the APart PA-CONF microphone system. The chairman unit has a solid, yet unobstructive design.

The microphone base of the APart PA-CONFC is equipped with a “SPEECH” and “PRIORITY” button. Pushing the “SPEECH” button activates the microphone and the red LED on the base and the red led ring on the microphone will glow. Pressing the “PRIORITY” button, will mute all delegate microphones that are behind the APart PA-CONFC in the daisy chain. A few Seconds after the “PRIORITY” button has been released, the delegate units (APart PA-CONFD) can be activated again by pushing their “SPEECH” button. The built- in limiter maximises intelligibility and prevents big level differences between silent and “shouting” speeches.

The microphone base is equipped with a 3 pin XLR connector into which the microphone can be plugged. Every microphone base has a stereo jack input and output. The delegate units can be connected via daisy chaining. This way, linking the cables to the delegate units is very easy (2 m cables included). The microphone has a high quality Japanese uni-directional condenser microphone capsule which is very resistant to feedback. It has a sturdy but very elegant and slim stem with a gooseneck at the top & bottom. A red LED ring on top of the microphones stem indicates if the microphone is activated.

All these features, together with the unique APart PA-CONF microphone mixing system, result in a very competitive and versatile system that can be used for mobile use, presentation purposes, debates, meeting rooms (replaces the standard 10 channel microphone mixer) small conference systems and others. Installing this system takes little time and is very easy, even for non-technical people.
